+A friend tells me of a childhood story where lead is melted on a spoon, then poured into an aluminium bowl filled with water held over the head of the person believed to be haunted. The head is covered in a see-through linen. Sometimes the whole person is covered in the linen.
This process is repeated three times until the harm is gone, and the shape of the lead in the water is seen as the spectre.
